故事发生在明朝末年，袁承志（郭追 饰）是忠诚袁承焕（魏添财 饰）的儿子，在父子横死之后，袁承志由仆人带领，逃亡至华山，成为了华山派掌门人穆人清（李寿祺 饰）的弟子。一次偶然中，袁承志于一个山洞内发现了武林传奇金蛇郎君（龙天翔 饰）的遗骨，亦发现了失传已久的金蛇秘籍，就此练就了金蛇剑法。 为了完成金蛇郎君的遗愿，袁承志踏上旅途寻找名为温仪（井莉 饰）的女子，又在途中结识了温青青（文雪儿 饰），袁承志就此被卷入了一段横埂在几代人之间的爱恨情仇之中。让袁承志没有想到的是，温婉可人的温青青，其真实身份正是金蛇郎君的女儿。。一个退隐的黑道大哥的弟弟，生活糜烂，是个小混混，卖毒品，勾搭女人，无所不为。于是惹到了一个有权的老头，老头就把他强暴了。然后，他就受不了打击，自杀了，他哥哥就出山替他报仇。。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
